The institution was founded in 1968 and was intended to support artistic teams of amateur performers, craftsmen in the county, as well as to research and capitalize on local customs and traditions. In over 45 years, the Center has organized festivals and contests, artisan fairs, outdoor festivals. „Datina” ensemble of the Center is recognized for the authenticity of repertoire and virtuosity of interpretation.
