He has always created popular masks, peasant shoes, horses, goats and bears for traditional dances, but he’s been doing this in an organized manner since 2000. Born in Ibanesti on September 13, 1955, the man used to work as a car driver but in 2000 he settled in Zaicesti where he built a wooden house for himself. „I made my house as I wanted it to be”, Stan Danuta said. His house actually looks like a museum, as one of the rooms hosts his works. The oldest of his masks is 73 years old, being a family legacy.
