The holder of the first place in the country for the creation of masks, Gheorghita Tugui, lives in Vorona, a commune from Botosani County. He is a member of the Romanian Academy of Traditional Arts. Ghoerghita Tugui attends all the fairs and traditional exhibitions. He successfully represents both Vorona and the country in events held abroad. Always dressed in a traditional costume and wearing hat spurs, the craftsman heals your soul when he sings. He’s got the talent from his father, who has created several masks who are now in the custody of Moldova Ethnographic Museum from Iasi – they were used in 1990 to create the area dedicated to „Winter traditions in Moldova”.
