The building of A.T. Laurian High School Building („Palace”, as Nicolae Iorga called it), was inaugurated in 1885. Among the landmark graduates of this school there were Nicolae Iorga, Octav Onicescu, Simion Sanielevi, Ion Simionescu, etc .
