Lebăda Inn

Lebăda Public Pool is located in the outskirts of Botosani City. It is an outdoow pool. Starting with 2014, the Lebada Complex also offers spa services, in an indoor pool with saline water and jacuzzi.

Maria Hotel

Situated in the interior yard of Maria Hotel, the pool is surrounded by greenery and endowed with sunbeds. It also has a tearrce and pool bar, as well as a BBQ where grilled meals can be prepared.

Vorona protected area

„Vorona” natural area is situated in the neighbourhood of Botosani City, in the continental bioregion of the Northwestern side of the Moldova plateau and has a surface of 381 hectares. The site represents a natural area (decidous forests), which preserves a natural habitat of the oak and hornbeam Dacian forests” type. It protects important species (Eurasian, European and Circumpolar)Alpine-Carpathian Alpine, Boreal and Atlantic; Dacian and Balkan) of Moldovan flora. A notable species present here is lady’s slipper – papucul doamnei (Cypripedium calceolus).

Dorohoi – Șaua Bucecei protected area for birds and fauna

The special bird and animal protected area Dorohoi-Saua Bucecei is situated at the contact of Moldova plain with the high plateau of Suceava. Because of its geologic composition and the varied action of the denudation factors, the area presents both high hills such as Dealu Mare-Tudora as well as large sadlles, like Şeaua Bucecii, which connects Siret area to the lower Botosani City. In the saddle area, the peaks are beveled, the rare altitudes are above 350 m, the valleys are large and not very deep.

Ponds in Ibănesei Valley-Başeului-Podrigăi- protected area for birds and fauna

The special bird and animal reservation „Iazurile” (Ponds) on the valley of Ibaneasa-Baseu-Podriga sppread on a surface of almost 2.705 hectares. The protected area represents a natural area (which belongs to the continental bioregion) in the North of Moldova Plateau (Jijia field) which ensures protection and preservation, as well as conditions for feeding, nesting and living for several migrating, passage or sedentary species.

Stânca Ripiceni geological and flora reservation

The geologic and floristic reseravtion Stanca Ripiceni has a 1 hectare surface and was constituted with the beginning of works for the Stanca Costesti Dam. these landscapings have affected the existing vegetation from Stanca Costesti reservation by destroying the limestone sublayer. For the future, the flowe species siverechia podoliana (Schivereckia podolica) will be moved here and adapted to almost identical conditions.
